haha....my point was (and this is how i learned) that while 1.8 is kickass...it will obviously reduce your depth of field so if you are standing not at a reasonably close distance from your subject, the focus wont be sharp enough.

I had to do the focus in M. When it's in A, it only focus the subjects behind it. Arghhhh. It's also a 50mm. lens.

notice the sharp centre in this one....this was at f2.2
