aha i see....i guess you shot these using the nifty fifty? man that lens shines everytime (except low light sometimes) but in my experience of using it...its pretty dependable at f1.8 and i guess sharpest at around f5.6 or so.
i wanna get a nice and fast tele as my next lens and doing some research atm. i really dig the 70-200mm F4L IS |
some shots taken with the nifty fifty at a car show some time back...i wish i could do more of this...

Both you guys are lucky that you have the Tamron 17-50. It's not offered in my mount, I'd have to settle for the Sigma 24-70 or the Tamron 28-75.

yup...i love the tamron...its so dependable...here is a shot taken at the zoo recently. i wish i could have tried a bit more to get rid of the cage from the composition.
i was standing a bit far from the edge so i shot at 40-50mm but then had to crop it to bring the tiger closer...hence some minor grain in the pic but overall...i love the picture. The magnificent sumatran tiger. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1358/...a3804150_b.jpg |

I'm sorry, but what's so special about this one? You should have removed the people's feet from the shot.
