why did u get a junky sigma lens...shoulda just got the 1.8 canon lens or spent the extra coin for the 1.4 canon lens...I despise sigma lenses...the name alone sounds cheap

have you seen the comparisons between the canon 1.4 and the sigma 1.4??

I was highly considering the canon 1.4, until I saw many different reviews. I don't like sigma in general to be honest with you. I don't like any other lenses in their line up. However, this lens just kills the canon 50 1.4.

you can tell that it shines at f5.6 among the pics you posted. having said this however, f1.4 should deliver blazing speed and sharpness given the right subject and right light. your shots at 1.4 and 2.0 dont look too diferent if you notice....at 1.4, your bokeh should be like milk but i guess thats cuz of the distance to the subject and light.

it would be great if you take a shot with the sharpness that you have in 5.6 and considerably more bokeh as in the previous wider apertures.
