Honda CBR 125R Questions.

The bike was boring for me due to the lack of acceleration. Not that I want to ride fast, but just to keep up with the vehicles next to me. If you plan on going on the highway at all I wouldn't choose this bike (unless you're 100lbs). It lacks the passing ability to get you out of trouble.

ive had my 125 for about a month now, great little bike and fun to motor back and forth from work on. Seems like your purpose is exactly what mine was, I was starting to get frustrated with the amount of people that told me to man up and get a bigger bike. The 125 is perfect for the beginner rider, you will be happy with it.

i had a cbr 125 for a season. It was awsome $4.00 to fill it up lasted me about 200kms or more. perfect bike for booting around in the city with i took it to work everyday (35kms one way) rain or shine. it is a bit to of a stuggle on the highway. especially if theres a head wind. i got it when i was 24 with my m1 and it cost me 1300 a year. the honda 600RR was 5500 a year with one speeding ticket on my record. Maintenace was easy, exactly 1 liter of oil and no oil filter. if you end up getting one i recommend changing the rear sprocket to a 14 tooth. it shortens up 1st gear but takes off like a bat out of hell. i upgraded to a cruiser just because the girlfriend wanted to ride on the back. its a blast to ride i never got bored of it i took this thing everywhere. check out www.cbr125r.ca great site for used bikes and parts and lots of info.
