Your Head office along with many other corporate relations offices are located in Waterloo. As is your R&D. But if you read the back of your Blackberry from Rogers (Supplied from RIM) they read MADE IN MEXICO. Which includes models but not limited to 9700, 9000, 8900, 8520 etc.

I did not say pick up the Iphone 4. I said pick up an Iphone. I had ZERO issues with my 3g 8gig compared to the MANY problems I've had with 8310 and 9000.

Care to explain to me why the largest phone maker in the world hasn't already done this?

Simple answer: no one currently has anything that can come close to our corporate offering. There's more to it than just the phone itself and the stupid apps you can load on it. We have one of the world's largest private networks running every BB world wide.
Yet there has been several cases instances with massive email deletion, loss of transfered data. Didn't you have an episode of this several months ago that resulted in worldwide business loss of 1 billion? (I'll dig up the article if I find myself with time that can be wasted)

I have several IT guys who contest to the **** quality and service of RIM

I seriously doubt you have a support contract with us for your personal BlackBerry.

Even the pet rock sold millions. Doesn't mean RIM's current tide of success is everlasting.

I hope you don't take these arguments/debates/mud slinging comments personally. I've just lost alot of money and time with this company. Rim and Rogers. Not to mention my personal dissatisfaction with how RIM takes no ownership to the crap that's sent to Rogers.

First, I'll start by saying it's not people talking bad about RIM that bothers me, it's people talking too much about something they obviously don't know enough about (no offense).

As a RIM employee, I'm pretty sure I don't need a lecture about where are sites are/what their function is.

Secondly, we have teams dedicate to support companies with contracts. Would you prefer a call centre in India?

Third, yes we've had outages before, but to suggest they have anything to do with data loss is quite hilarious considering nothing is stored on any of our systems. You may want your IT friends to check their own exchange/BES setup for issues like that. Not to mention wirelessly activating the device would bring any lost data right back to the phone if configured properly. Hmmm?

Last, as far as our success not lastinf forever, I'm pretty sure I had this same argument thrown at me on here 3 years ago and maybe 3 years again before that when I started at RIM. What's changed other than us constantly selling more devices and stealing more market share? It took us 5 years to reach 1 million sunscribers and we now do 5 million per quarter. Sounds like we're in trouble. Not to mention half of those are now NON-BUSINESS users which you may have picked up on if you've ever read our quarterly reports.

My curve is great, especially considering it's free. (corporate) The storm on the other hand... maybe it was rushed to compete...

Personally, I would love to have small *** nokia I can shove in my pocket with my keys n **** not caring about what happens to it.. Apps are great and all, but holy **** ***** batman, most of the time I just want to call someone..

Actually I would have one of those if i didn't get this free bb... oh well! now if only this thing perform sexual favours on command... then it would be seriously functionally!!

WTF do I have to know? I have had first hand experience PLUS hearing other stories of dissatisfied BB customers. Why do you keep pressing on these comments about subscribers? Clearly they all have these phones because corporations are paying for them. THEY GET A $600 PHONE FOR FREE. They are basic, no other real functionality besides receiving email and PINing.

For those who don't get them for free. They purchase them so they can feel important. Or apart of this BS social group called BBM (Which in no way tops msn or yahoo messenger etc).

I'm not going to continue with this as it's a waste of time. I've expressed my opinion (which I am entitled too. My experience is my own. You can't tell me otherwise) on this piece of plastic. Regardless of what any RIM-**** says. It's still a piece of obsolete paperweight and with them sending all manufacturing outside of Canada there is no reason to have brand loyalty as their giving away Canadian jobs. Which is something you have avoided answering.
