Washer Fluid Light

04 Civic Si

When I purchased the car, the windshield washer fluid (empty) light was lit. I filled it up, but the light is still active and not disappearing. Any clue as to why this may be happening?

IMO, that light is useless, if you check your fluids regularly...i would yank the light if i were you, why do they gotta make a light for everything :S

I agree, you'll soon figure out that you've run out of washer fluid, who needs that light anyway?? pull it.

Makes sense. So is the $50 sensor just for the washer fluid, or does it effect other sensors as well? If its just for the washer fluid, foget it, like you guys said. I'm sure I'll be able to figure out when I'm out of washer fluid.

Thanks!
