Speaker Configuration Q's

Kinda need to upgrade my current set up of 2 10" MTX blue thunders run by a 600watt amp..more like 150rms per sub....this set up has been in 3 of my cars...lol

Alright I'm looking at purchasing these two subwoofers:

And power them by this amp:

According to this diagram, its possible: (wiring option 2)

So how much power would each subwoofer be getting?

You should be getting around 450 watts to each sub, but realistically you will be getting around 300 watts per sub. I could get you all that stuff at a better price.

Is this diagram correct as well?

I'm looking at diagram number 2:

Looks correct to me if you want to send your amp a 2 ohm load.

i have a much better setup for you that would blow your trunk off your car if you wanted too, but more conservatively run would yeild tight hard hiitting bass.

its a phoenix gold package deal. comees with 2 10" custom box and a phoenix gold amp and all new wiring. i think its on special for like 600 or something at audio2go in mississauga where i got my work done. it would be well worth the drive to get it. i've heard it, wow, it sounds awesome and im very very picky on sound and eveen worse with bass. it might be a little cheaper, if you want i can call the guy and find out for you, plus they give mee sick deals, so i can probably even get you a deal...

i would let them do the install too, or do it yourself, but ive never seen a cleaner audio and alarm install on any car since i got mine done there... they professionally tune it and you can go back anytime for free adjustments and etc... they have the craziest c6 corvette too as their FOCAL demo car and it only has 2 6 1/2" components and two 8" subs and you can hear the **** like 2 km away. lol. and clearly too.

i know its not the question you had, but still, i would be more concerned about the box you are getting for the best bass anyway. ive heard one setup in a standard box, then get a custom ported or sealed (depending oin what you want) and it sounds 20x better and even pounds much harder. more noticeably of course is the control you get at the really low and high bass frequencies. not too much reverberation, much smoother and cleaner bass. invest in a box you will keep forever.

ohhh and that setup comes i was talking about above comes with a box too.
