Seat Belt Light

I drive a 2002 Civic LX sedan.

Question is: The seat belt light is on, even though the seat belt is latch to the buckle. What can cause this? Is it the Seat belt sensor? if yes, where do I locate it so I can clean the sensor or do something to get rid of the light.

Thanks.

right under the buckle there is a plug, you can just d/c it and your light will go out. or you can take cluster out and take the bulb out lol. dont know how to really solve the problem

The seat belt bucket should still be under warranty with honda. I had the same issue on my 2005 and when I took it to the dealer the service advisor said Honda had a life time warranty on selt belts.
