Hey there, i have an 01 Si and the SRS light is on, from searching i've noticed that there seems to be a connection between this light and the seat belt. As it happens, my driver side seat belt latch does not work well - could this be the cause - also is this under a life time warranty? really?

Yeah, I have the same issue. Reset the SRS light and it came back right away. Got fed up and went to honda and found out I have a bad passenger seat belt buckle. Now gotta find me one at a junk yard as honda is charging 260 bucks just for the part.

ya same problem with me it usually stays off for a while after the reset but then comes back later mines the drivers side seat belt ... just going to pull out the fuse
