A friend recently changed to a dvd deck and gave me his reverb stereo, and I thought it would be a nice lil upgrade from my original stereo. I noticed my cars center piece is a lil curved at the edges.. will this stereo for the Reverb fit in my car? And does anyone know if the Reverb stereo also has a reset code?? If so ill have to probably get it from my friend.

is there something extra ill need or will it direct fit?

I believe this has been done before, and it should fit with no problems. However, the gap around the deck won't look as round as the reverbs. The deck should have a reset code, because its a factory deck.

The reverb deck is not that great, but I guess anything is better than the regular stock decks.

btw, is that a tape deck I see??? I never knew the 7thgens came with tape decks. Mine came with a CD deck.

lol yeah thats just the pic mines came with a cd too lol I have no idea where that car got a tape deck .. heh

I called several places tho there arent any mounting kits for it that I can use .. if I take it out there will be a huge gap in between..

hope someone whos done it can shed some light.. if not ill have to sell the deck..

There is a slight gap, but only around the edges. If you look at the reverb, its the same. However the reverb console is rounder around the deck area. There are no mounting kits you can use.

The only thing you can use is an actual reverb console. Ask your buddy if he wants to swap consoles, or you next bet is checking on ebay.

just order the '05 reverb center console
it's a direct swap........
i had to do the reverse when we did the reverb to single din, i ordered the '01-'03 piece

I have it, i'll take a pic later today when i go out. Mine's a 04, but it's the same, have a gap there.
