removing door panels

its a 96....how do u remove the inside door panels and the ***** for the windows (not power).....is it just clips...dont wanna try pullin on em if its screwed together

There is a U shaped clip between the window crank and the panel..

Use needle nosed pliers to remove bu pulling it up...

Uscrew the plastic door closer handle on the inside...

Remove plastic door latch and lock thing by unscrewing...

Door panels are connected by little plastic tabs...

Use a long flathead to CAREFULLY pry each one off..

Be careful you don't puncture the plastic vapour barrier...

You have to be very careful how you pop it off....it's easy to pop the head of the nubbie. There is an actual tool you can pick up that is specifically made to pop off panels.
I think auto shops would sell it or maybe even crappy tire.

out of curiousity would this be the same for a 5th gen... also without power windows.... i was trying at this before and couldn't get the window handle off.
