I am planning on changing the colour of my gauge lights to amber either by transparent paint or condoms (haven't decided yet).
I am looking at the back of my gauges right now, and their are 16 different bulbs (3 large and 13 small).
I was wondering which ones need to be changed if I want my whole cluster to light up amber? All of them?

I can post a pic of the back of my gauges if someone can host it.

there are big ones that provide frontal illumination and then there are small ones behing the actual speedo and tachometer...those are the ones u need to change...u dont need to change the ones behind the idot lights

So the big ones don't need to be changed?
What if I already did it, does it really matter? What do you mean by frontal illumination?

there are lights on the top of the gauge cluster...those shine down on the front of the cluster

and if u changed the idiot lights to amber its not really gonna make a difference

where do you buy the amber condoms anyways? cause I'm thinking about it too...but, don't want to paint the bulbs because odds are you won't get an even coat on the bulb and it might shine differently...and info?

Buddah, I think you can pick them up at the dealer.
I know the gauges in the CRV use amber condoms, so check it out.
BTW, I painted my with testors candy apple red transparent paint, and it turned out sick
