Powering a deck with an AC adapter

So I need to power up a deck using a AC adapter from a household outlet.

Headed to the source at lunch to check out adapters.

Anyone else done this?

You will need a 12v DC power supply that can give out and least 5-10 amps to properly power that deck.

Thats what I'm looking for, but all I can find are 1-1.5 amp ones.

And can I just wire the power and constant leads together to the same lead on the adapter?
