it could be many problems
but the best thing to do is.
take the door panel off.
take a test light
and unplug the motor wire from the harness
and then while u are ussing the switch to go up and down (eventhough the motor wont work) use the test light and see if there is current flowing when u push it up and down and if u do then it might be ur motor.
if u dont then it means either the wire that makes the motor go back up either has a short or its ripped somehwere and needs to be patched up again.

it's also dependant on the drivers side so even tho you think ya might have it, ya don't..
best thing to do is pull the switches, check for continuity as per the manual (there's a shyt load of them to check and in 3 different combinations..
if they're alright then yer gonna have to check the harnesses..same deal but twice as many combinations..
find the break, trace it back and replace the wire..
page 1163 of the Haynes manual........
also, check yer fuses first, save yerself a lot of work fer nuttin'....each window works on its own fuse..

oh, and the switches ain't cheap...are hard to find too.......i musta called a dozen places looking for a set for Jess before we found it wasn't either of the switches..
driver's side for a 4-door was $220+ (with our discount) and the passenger's was $80+
