painting dash

im sure just about everyone has seen the Max Boost civic by Autocannon... if you have seen the interior, it is a gun metal gloss finish all over the dash.. i was wondering, with using just paint can I achieve this on my dash?

I want to paint my dash doors plastic pieces, etc. all gunmetal color. but i want a glossy finish.

i know how to go about doing it, but how will it turn out? will the natural texture in the dash vinyl still be there? and is there any way to remove it?

oh, and btw, would Integra LS seats/civic si/crx si seats fit my stock 92 si rails? i like those seats much better when they are draped in vinyl rather than the stock 92's

You can sand out the texture of the dash. It won't have the shine to it unless you use lots of clear coat.

I wouldnt try to do something like that yourself. It will take you so long. If you really want to though just take your time and it will turn out pretty good.

You would probably hae to tear off the vinyl and sand, primer, putty the dash or fiberglass the vinyl dash and then sand, primer, putty, paint ...
