im not a big fan about painting the dash, because 9 times out of 10, the color you use will turn out being glossier then it is now, and it will reflect the sunlight like a bitch.......

you can use a vinyl spraypaint dye to do your dash, but a warning, dont do it white lol... i learned the hardway, its much harder to see out your windshield cause of the glare. Also make sure ur sure on doing it cause once u start using that dye, it wont come out, and it makes it harder to re-paint.

it'll work fine.. for plastics, use a paint remover and sand down the area's before painting, use a coat of primer before painting it black, and then use normal black spraypaint to finish it off, and dont forget to use some clear coat for the vinyl and plastics, helps it last a little longer, but dont over spray that stuff, or it'll turn yellow

I think the stock dash looks better than painted
I've seen people that painted the plastic around the radio and the vents, it doesn't look good at all. I'd say leave it or re vinyl the whole dash.
My 2 cents

yeah your right, like it looks good painted i think, but it DOES chip, and ya gota be ready for touch ups ya know. Then again, i rather paint the re-vinyl EVERYTHING.. my friend calvin has a crx, and vinyled the whole dash orange and white, and its tearing apart everywhere, so beware
