If there is a part of the windshield missing you'll have to replace the windshield. For the rearview mirror, try to scrape off any glass that is on it and then use double-sided tape to reattach it, but you might as well get it replaced when you replace the windshield. As far as a temporary fix, use duct tape!

U know how the mirror is stuck on the windshield..... when the mirror fell off, the part it was glued to or whatever fell off and a piece of the windshield that it was stuck to came off. Would i still have to change my windsheild? Would double sided tape hold? the mirror is kinda heavy.

Canadian Tire sells several kits to help put it back on. The last time I bought one is was like $3-4... basically it was just a tube of superglue...

As mentioned before, superglue should do fine. I misunderstood and I thought that there was a hole in the windshield, but if it is only a little piece superglue would be perfect.

Yeah....just remember to remove the mirror from the holder beforw you glue it back to the glass, and let it be for at least 24 hrs, before putting the mirror back.
