interior seat lights for LED and neon tubes are the same price on ebay... what are the advantages/disadvantages to either?

i believe LED lasts longer and can take a bit of a beating....

Also, I put in a red light filter for my dome light... anyone use a coloured LED for the dome light instead? works well?

I used to have a red dome light in my car a few years back when I was into gay mods like that, I didn't like it. It's not very bright, and it was hard on my eyes.

it's perfectly legal. for cottages, camping, etc.

they have colour LED dome lights. i recommend a white dome light, other colours are useless. you can't see sh*t with them.
