I didn't know jack **** about cars (well to a point) and i just recently installed my own deck a week ago. Get a harness, face plate and a universal adaptor and it is just plug and go!!!

I am sorry did that hurt?

Yes a multimeter/test light is a GREAT investment.

rememeber it only takes 10 dollars for that, but one wrong move and it will cost you nearly 3g's to change an entire main harness.

I know from experience well not mine but i had a customer come in and told me the fuse blew when someone tried to install a deck well i checked it out and it ended up to be the entire main harness for the accord was burned he was very lucky he could've cost a fire but it didnt. The thing burt up so fast that it melted the alarm box (where it was touching) and continued on because the idiots who installed the alarm didnt put a better fuse in there causing the meltdown to proceed.
