hot water and winning colours just scrub it into the carpet and suck it out with a wet/dry vac.

my friend has 3 years of left over salt stains, I tried the salt eraser stuff also bought at canadian tire didnt work, would this Simoniz Salt & Stain Remover work on 3 yr old salt stains on my friends jetta on the carpet? if not i'll have to consult to warm water

I was cleaning my mums car few weekends ago, used warm water with hand soap in a spray bottle and a brush. Got most of it out.

Free, and doesn't hurt to try.

i did the same....half a scoop of tide with hot water in a spray bottle...sprayed, and scrubbed the **** out of the entire interior, then shop vac'd it....worked like a charm!
