Hi,

I've seen a post regarding installing a headlight warning chime for 4th gen Civics, but cannot find anything for 6th gen.

I'm surprised that the Civic doesn't have one stock, and frustrated because I'm forever forgetting to turn the lights off during the day.

If anyone has installed one, I would greatly appreciate hearing how.

if your car doesn't have it... it's cuz someone took it out. they do come with one... from the factory, every and all trim levels.

the one for the 4th gen should also work on your car....i dont see any reason it woulnt

pokerman, since I never had a problem with mine, I don't know... but I can tell you how to go about troubleshooting it. Does the thing go off if you have the key in the ignition and open the door? If so... follow the sound till you find the module... then see if any wires were cut. Reconnect the wire, and voila.

If all else fails; get the factory service manual electrical supplement...it has all the wiring diagrams in it.

try reconnecting the door pin, someone most likely took it out. Its a rubber boot in the door jamb.
