Gauge cluster from 90 SI?

Gauge cluster from 90 SI?

hey guys does anyone know if the the Gauge Cluster from a 1990 Civic SI work in a 1990 Civic DX? i want the Si because it has the RPM gauge on it. thanx in advance.

yes, they are interchangable as long as you stay 90-91 and 88-89......which you are....

Actually and Ef guage cluster will fit, the only differences are the the shape of the cluster is a little different on the older EF's and therefore you will have a gap at the top of your cluster where the bezel meets as in my car. I am currently running a 1991 CX hatch with a 1988 crx si cluster and it works great, the only problem as I mentioned is that it doesnt match perfectly with the gauge bezel. Oh and if your gonna swap in that cluster be prepared to do wiring cause if you dont do it only your temp, gas gauge, and speedo will work. The wiring is not to hard though, just get the proper pinouts off the net.

yo dude blair. i know ihave to change the wiring, but do u know where on the net we can find the diagrams for it. i already have the cluster already.

either buy a helms or haynes manual if you can read electrical wiring diagrams...or take the time to figure out where each wire leads too ...and that takes patience

are you sure you have to change the wiring, because I put an 89 Si cluster into my 89 CX and it just pluged in, everything works.... I thought you only had to re-wire if you were going from 88-89 to 90-91.????

i put a 91 si cluster in my 91 dx and i didnt touch the wiring and the tach still worked

like stated dummies 88-89 are interchangable with no wiring and 90-91 are interchangable with no wiring....89 cluter into 90 car = wiring
