Is it easy to install water temp gauge?

I'm thinking of buying this electrical water temp gauge from ebay: Universal 52mm 2" Water Temperature Gauge Eclipse Civic: eBay Motors (item 130347703106 end time Sep-22-10 21:11:59 PDT)

Anyone tried installing these by themselves, and is it easy?

This is electrical, which is much easier than the mechanical ones where u have to hook it up to the engine bay.

Any feedback or direct me to a help site would definitely help.

Many thanks!

Well the item has been removed therefore I am not sure how it looks like or how it works.

Most of the temp gauges use their own sensor, there fore you'd need a T to hook up the oem and your new sensor all in one. If this gauge doesn't use its own sending unit, then you'd just have to go through few diagrams to find out which wire is for temp gauge on your cluster and just splice into it.

To be honest, oem gauge, though it doesn't have exact measurements, works well. The few degree increase or decrease doesn't show, but significant changes show easily and that's all you should be concerned about.
