Climate control lights are dead

Climate control lights are dead

They don't light up when i turn on my headlights, i have no idea whats wrong with them. any with this problem before?

I would say the lights are burn't out, i've had that happen in a couple of cars... There are wee little light bulbs back there!

I have my dash lights turned all the way down so I like it pretty dim in the car at night

take your centre console out, remove the screws that hold the climate control in, unattach wires and cables.

i got half of mine....one side lights up and the other doesnt....no biggie....not worth the hassles to replace

Same thing happened on my si I had.
I wen't to Honda and they couldn't order them for me b/c they couldn't get that part for some reason. They said Honda can't get those bulbs anymore.
I then stripped like 5 center consoles on 5 4th gen civics, all of the bulbs were fried on all of them

So I said **** it

Same thing happened on my 5th gen, rather then replace the bulbs, i just found myself a whole new climate control for cheap. To take it out to replace it, first take out your deck, then there are 2 screws holding onto it from the bottom. I was only able to access them with a long phillips screwdriver, its in a tight spot sort of on an angle. Once u undo those screws, slide the climate control out a bit, unplug the connectors from the back and then unhook the cable. She'll come rite out
