Yup! Even CDs burnt at 48x were read correctly, but if you want to make sure your discs are read properly, burn them at 8x or less.

you say, "i know mine plays them and as long as they're not mp3 & wma files"

so, what format can you burn them as?

does the ITUNES "Burn disc" feature work for CDRW's?

Thanks alot guys again!

Well, if you use anything like Nero or Windows Media, just choose "Burn Music CD"

itunes

Hi there! thanks for your reply,

I'm a BIG itunes amateur. So, here is the story, I bought my CD-RW cd's and i also used the "BURN" button on the lower right. I have selected "AUDIO" format also in peferences.

However, the finished CD does not play on my home stereo nor the car....

Any ideas??? Hmmm...

I'm super confused, tried everything, tried to erase it, and redo it, same going on...

Any help would be appreciated! thanks in advance
JOHN

ye use cd-r...plus my experience with cdrw is that second time around the sound quality seems to be lower...maybe its just me but its also annoying having to erase...not to mention cdr are so cheap like 30cents each...why hasstle with cdrw.
