well today i got a amp off my friend and was in good working condition, today i install it and it worked fine for an half an hour then it would come on/off, i would turn off/on the car to see if it would come back on and it did then it went off, i would then again turn off the car and restart and deck comes on and you could hear the subs then 2 seconds later shuts off so i checked the fuse on the amp and no damage so i proceed to check the fuse under the hood (thought replacing it would help), and after that i restart the car and it works, i dont think its the amp that is giving problems, i think its the connection,

How are your subs hooked up? do you know what ohms you have the subs at and what is the specs of the amp? Also could be a bad woofer or a short somewhere.

the subs are hooked up right, the woofer, the amp is a no name but does the job, 900 peak watts, i dont think its the woofers, disconnected them then tryed again, how can i get the wire to my battery cause i think its that

checked over the connections and everything works fine but here is the next problem lol, the amp turns on and everything but when i have the radio on the amp/sub works but when i start the car the amp is on but no sound to the subs
