Alarm is not working properly

First off I have a clifford alarm. The last couple of days the unit has not been working properly at all. It doesn't want to arm sometimes and the remote isn't working at all even though I've changed the batteries in it the other day. My question is if my car battery were low would that cause the alarm and the remote to malfunction (not engage properly?).

Yes, that can be one of the problems. If the voltage of the batery gets too low, the alarm may reset itself to the factory settings.....but most of the new alarms out now a days, have a non volatile memory. Meaning it will remember the last settings even if the battery power is removed from it. Without knowing the age/model of the Clifford, I can't help you any further. PM me if you need any more help.

Don't post any more info about the car, and the model of the Clifford on the open board. To many "bad" people lurking around.
