vibrant j-spec is nice, good ground clearance, good performance and affordable.

hytech replica is nice, not so good ground clearance, good performance and reasonably priced.

Rage is nice, another hytech replica but still pretty expensive.

DC jdm header with 2.5" collector performs well, is affordable, but to me DC headers don't have the quality (I had one and it rusted out pretty quick).

The edelbrock is good, especially with the 2.5" collector mod, has good ground clearance and is decently priced.

And of course SMSP, hytech, DTR, RMF and burns are all very nice, but quite expensive and not always power steering or a/c compatible....more of a full-race type header.

What kind of money are you looking to spend??
If you want the best Bisi and SMSP are definetly two of the top dogs out there.

which version?

Those "tri-Y" copies are actually VERY VERY VERY poor quality. I've seen one in peices (literally) and let me tell you, the 8 year old boys who make these in tiawan don't do a very good job. They also have crap ground clearance, but are cheap and make decent power.

I've made over 200whp with the vibrant j-spec 4-2-1 on a 1.8L with a cat, resonator and muffler.

A good tri-y (hytech, SMSP, DTR, RMF, etc etc) is worth every penny but most people can't justify the cost.
