Hell no. If you hit some ice you'll lose all traction. Have some patience my friend. Spring is just around the corner.

if you survive the winter with those tires on, i'll give you a dollar

RT615 are summer performance tires...not winter tires

i don't know about you guys, but when i look out my window i see 2.5 feet of snow and -15 degrees plus a windchill....not exactly what i would call a mild winter.

Summer tires + snow/ice = death

It is bad enough to drive all seasons sometimes, let alone summer tires.

I am sure you get the picture now.

i think the OP is on crack when he said "mild winter"

what da heck? where do you live? i'm seeing huge snow fall randomly, i don't even know which day its gonna snow, its so random and nasty without notice... plus with the freezing temperature, the wet snow becomes ice very quickly....

i don't hope to see you in a ditch or slamming someone's ****... so you better not play around our lives hahahaha

lol this reminds me of driving on my 215s when the snow started to hit in january. i had my snows up front and 215s in the back. i was doing some crazy dorifto man! going down a street at 30-40 i did a 360 onto oncomming traffic. and the roads were PLOWED and salted. big no no man, i'm lucky i didn't crash my car because i had plenty of close encounters.

I've driven my civic with worn out falken azenis (by worn out I mean less than 25% tread left). They stuck like glue on dry pavement of course but the real surprise was in the rain....they stuck almost as good in the rain as in the dry!!! No jokes! (thats what I call good tread design)

But NEVER NEVER EVER would I drive with a tire like this in the snow!!!!gotta be nuts to do that! lol...

that's weird, i could've sworn that the azenis' tread pattern wasn't desgined to dissipate water that well. even at 75%, i didn't have as much wet traction as i would've liked to have. the 512s were 100 times better in the rain compared to the azenis.

yes, but 512s blow *** on dry road LOL. I'll never buy 512s ever again. ****, I never even ran the tread out on them, I just took em the hell off.

The azenis are awsome for wet....the tread has long curving cuts that run the width of the tire and channel the water out from under the tire.

Check it out:
Azenis tread

However the large flat areas deffinately don't help wet traction. They handled really well in the wet from my experience.
