Question Will putting a small amplifier in the car drain engine performance?

I was wonder if I put a small amplifier (nothing that weighs anything more than 8lbs) would that decrease the engine performance because of the power drain from the battery?

your alt doesn't have a clutch like say and air con compressor does. in other words, no.
