dont bother with anything, jus drive it normally. Waste of money for minimal power gains, swap it out

its a 92-95 Si vtec engine with the better gearing... you would notice a HUGE diff over that engine.. 127 hp with much better gearing... btw... what car is this going into? your profile says 97 EX coupe...

1. we didnt get 97 EX coupes in canada
2. if it is a 97 EX coupe from the states, it has the D16Y8
3. D16Y5's never came in anything over 95 (i think)

let us know what its goin into

Angry

it is a 97 ex i had a motor swap buy the biggest crucks in the world lucky star japan auto

kost me 2g for a d15y5 motor installed and a new clutch and it was just a ****ty clutch and not even the plate was changed just the padded part . They scratched my car 2 **** made the car all oily in the footwels looking like it was a mechanik taxi.
The engin sucks and they never installed a knock sensor or did any engin timeing
It was pay me and **** off u can't bitch

They said the oily featprint inside were allready there the engin was the same as the one that came out the scratches were caused buy the tow truck company even tho i took it there on a flatbed ???????? and they just hang up the phone or just start dealing with other customers wen i call 2 bitch its a ****ing joke that place im soo pissed off .
I went over there and bitched and they all started talking japaneese and ignoreing me pointing at me and told me its not there problem and they wil not fix anything because i have no evidence that anything was even installed there or scratched there it must have hapened on my drive home or in my driveway AAASSSHHHOOOLLEEESSS

so its a USDM EX? your best bet is to swap a Y8 back in there... D16Y8 can be found in canadian SI coupes and acura 1.6el's or USDM EX coupes

still single cam, d16y8 is the motor that was in your car to begin with assuming that your car is actually an American EX model which is equivalent to our SI.
