d16y5 to a d15b what wil i have 2 change and how many hp ??
hi i was told id have 2 get something 4 the harness ??
if so does anybody have one that i could buy ??
i know **** all about wireing harnesses so any info would be great i dident buy the motor yet until i find out about this harness thing

o i thaught the motor was a 1.6 thanks guys yea i payed 4 a y8 and lucky star installed a y5 instead and now ignore my phonecalls so i cant even bitch at them 
i go there and all of a suden its a chinese speaking shop wooowww i hate them soo much

a d15b is not downgrading from any of the motors listed above. It's a sohc vtec motor with a more aggressive cam than both the d16z6 and the d16y8 producing 130hp which is more than both of those, but yes a conversion harness is required as your car is obd2 and that motor is obd1.
