Why not to buy cheap wheels.....

This is a warning to all of those considering to purchase a set of cheap rims. Depending on the manufacturer, some rims may not be to spec. This is an example, a very dangerous example of what can happen to cheap rims. Please becareful while modding your car and be safer than sorry.

I hope none if you were going to purchase a set of ADR Jazz. This is what happened when a guy hit a small pothole going about 80 km/h and the Rim snapped in half.

Any rim will snap in half given enough force and whatnot. That HK signer Nicolas crashed his Ferrari last March and I remember one of the rim was snaped in half.

That's because ADR probably use a local foundry to get their ingot. Best quality ingot is from Dubai. Highest consistent quality currently available. The rims that I bring in are from manufacturers who also produce OEM for Honda, Toyota, Suzuki, Daewoo and Hyundai. They have to have meet not only VIA or JIS/JIL standards, but DOT and have current T.U.V. And they use imported ingot for it's purity as impurities in the metal may cause failure in the rim. Also they must go through many tests - this is where rim manufacturers differ. Manufacturers that make rims for OEM have to ensure that their product doesn't fail - otherwise they could loose their lucrative contract..

That being said, you also take your chances if you run an ultralight rim with low profile tires on our roadways...
