Talking Whats Better Turbo or Hybrid

I need more power for my 93' si. I'm planning on doing this in the spring but I'm planning now. I was wondering If i should turbo the D16 or put a B18. What would be cheaper done the proper way, and how much power would i get out of them.

I prefer a swap. The B-series motor will give you a better platform with which you can build upon.

a properly tuned b18b and drag 2 turbo running 7psi on stock internals should be capable of pushing 230-240 at the wheels

now imagine if you beefed up the internals and ran it up to 15psi.......

hmm...that's not the S2000 motor you're talking about are you? hehehe...cuz for sure as hell that isn't going to fit without busting out multiple bank accounts

Or is the F20C1 an Accord Euro R engine? Damnit can't remember

At the track

At the track...

I saw a EK Civic Hatch with a built up B18B turbo'd school a 1993 Twin Turbo RX-7.

It wasn't even close.

Was about 8 car lengths on a 1/4 mile track.

I thought the Accord Euro R used the H22.

Its all about how much money you're gonna wanna be spending in the end. Swap will definetly be the cheaper route but there is nothing like the sound of a BOV If you do go the turbo route though have money set aside for after install headaches. Boost can be addicting sooner or later you know you'll be building the block and turnin up the boost hehehe

do both! get a swap, then when you have to cash turbo it or build on it.
