Well i did it!!! suspension is SET

well last week i bought lowering springs for my SIR.

now i debated just throwing in my Springs on stock SHOCKS.. but then i do kinda get annoyed with the bouncy back ***....

so last week i bought Goldline Springs.
they were cheap, and the drop is what i want.... 2.3" front and rear

not too excessive for me since i like my car slammed...

so today i just bought some STRUTS to go with my new setup.
i bought Tokico Illumina's.... id say this is a good setup.... to me anyways....

tomorrow i pick them up....

woooohoooooooo.....
so far this car... is gonna get nothing but the best...

next MOD..

wow congrats.... Tokico's (from my experence) can be a royal PITA to put together. when you get them... if you look at the top of the shock (the top of the piston) you'll it's ex cut on the inside this is for an allen key find one that fits and then after you've compressed your springs and put on the top hat and got the top nut started use the allen key to get some of the tread to show. this is so that the adjuster pieces that fit in the top can fit in nicely.

congrats on your setup dude.. if you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Man that's pretty low for driving in Toronto as there are quite a bit of bumps and potholes. I thought Koni Yellows were the best in general and Eibach /Ground Control springs as well.

What kind of reptuation do the Goldlines have? I don't hear much of them really. Anyways hope you have a great ride handling there.

you'll be very happy with the shocks... i just picked up a set last weekend and am amazing how controlled they are with my neuspeed race springs.... i love installing the race springs cause you dont even need a spring compressor or anything to fit them into hte shock assembly...
