weird tank shape?

Hey guys... I've got an 07 civic ex sedan... i noticed that my fuel indicator is at 4 units from empty at 400 km... when i gas up i only put in like 34L to make it full and it's a 50L tank... seeing as this car does not have a "Gas low" light/indicator like the previous generation had (correct me if i'm wrong but i haven't seen one) my only conclusion would be that the tank is somewhat odd shaped and the electronic gauge isn't all too accurate. are your 06-07's much like that? how many km do you get to a tank?

at 34L used and 400km driven you still have like atleast 150km left to drive before she's empty...fuel gauges are inaccurate for a reason, so u dont run out of gas...my fuel light comes on at 400km and I still drive it till the needle is passed "E" and thats nearing 600km on a good day

06-07 civics DO have a low fuel indicator. ive worked in the PDI department at honda and i gas the cars up...u can go till theres no dots left and it SHOULD fill up to about 44.xxL and thats coming from the plant. you should be able to get at least 500L out of 1 tank
