Question Underdrive Pulleys

I have a 99 civic si........ I just got done replacing my tranny. With the new tranny I also installed a act HD street/strip clutsh, Fidanza 7.5lb flywheel, Skunk2 short shifter and shift ****, Energy Suspension shifter stabalizer bushings, and a DC 4-1 ceramic header. Now it is time for tune up stuff (i.e. timing belt, serpentiene belt, plug wires, ect.) I have been looking at the unortodox underdrive pulley kit that comes with the lightened crank, alternator, ac, and one other pulley. Now I was wondering are these pulleys worth putting on my car. I figured that if im going to be in their anyway for the belts, I should do these also, but was wondering if it is a good investment. Or is their another company that would be better? I haven't really heard anything bad about them and that is why I ask your opinions. Any help you could give me would be great.

don't you have to worry about less power coming from the alternator??

i noticed
i got the underdrive pully as well as many other mods but its still spins teh alternator the same....just easier and faster for ur motor...u will lose bottom end tourqe(not noticable) but gain cause ur motor will rev up faster.....i liek it for sure when i held the origanal 3 pully gsr systema nd the unorthodox racing aluminum pully it was a HUGE difference in wieght....i am pleased with it....just tehy are not cheap...

i would reccomend it if u have the money for it...if u have money and dun have any mods ..get the usual thinsg first i/h/e i have

dc header 4-2-1
aem cam gears
b & m fuel pressure reg
underdrive pully
ngk wires
msd cap and coil
machined gsr flywheeldynomax cat back
aem cold air port matched throttlebody and intake manifold

so i noticed difference, i like the mod i can tell the engine revving up more freely it has less to spin...at the crank

i am pretty sure the unorthodox underdrive pully is balanced.....mine is just for my alternator.....took all teh wieght off the 3 pully system which was heavy as ****...and i dun have p/s a/c so it was useless
