Ok, so I was reading up on transmission options, and I got to a point about straight tooth and angular ones, and how straight is better but much louder, how much louder is it really? and does such a thing exist for B series transmissions :P?

also there was an alternative someone mentioned to Syncros that allow you to power shift much faster.

I'm figuring If I turbo the motor I might aswell get a transmission that fits the purpose and won't break too =p

Straight is not better. Helical cut gears engage more teeth at one time. As for tranny options, run a typie with a quaife diff. Unless you want the 30000 dollar xtrac

uhhh...

In short, helical gears operate quieter than straight cut. Straight cut will 'whine' the faster they go but offer both A. More directional application of force allowing for less power loss. and B. Higher acceptable loads until failure. Basically making the transmission stronger and more efficient. However though, like noted before, car manufacturers don't use straight cut due to the imense noise the transmission will produce.

Yea...if helical would be better then I'm sure race cars would be using them.

in short...read what I posted to get your answer.

Cost? honestly more then you can afford and worth for a standard street car.
