Ok. turns out i need a new throttle body plate because for some reason it is damaged/warped and isnt sealing properly when closed. my question is, is it possible to just buy the plate? i called number 7 honda and they said they dont sell it separately. anyone else know if i can buy just the plate or if i have to buy the entire throttle body?

This is very time sensitive so any input is appreciated.

how sure are you that it is damaged etc???
it could just be your throttle plate positioning nut is not set properly.

Go to a wreckers and get one there. You can probably get it for free

100% sure it is damaged. seems like the guy before me smashed it up with a screw driver so it doesnt seal properly all the way around the plate, there is a gap at the top where it is damaged. The throttle plate positioning nut was never changed. The mechanic tried his hardest to get that thing to sit right but nothing worked (adjustments, sanding, etc). The warped plate was also the cause of my sticking throttle becuase it doesnt stick any more now that he sanded it in an attempt to smooth it out, but it didnt work to close the gap that is letting the air by at idle. if anyone has the plate or a tb, please let me know, thanks!
