Thinking of removing AC
#23
i have a 5th gen Si hatch and the engine has so much lag when the a/c is on.... it burns so much gas.... i mean you can just have the regular non-a/c blower on and its much cooler then the outside air..... or just open the windows.... just think of last winter and you wont feel so hot anymore

I'm looking for a 1994-1995 civic a/c system.
I can remove it for free too.
Willing to pay up to $500. depending on condition.

Don't kill yourself from frostbite either!

I would like to have it Duy......
For all the people that want it as well.....think about this first.
1. If the system still had R12 in it, it will have to be converted to 134A.....this cost cash.......
2. if any of the seals/hose leak.....more cash......
3. You will have to remove part of the inside of the car under the dash.....this is were part of the system (small little rad) goes. More work.
4. don't forget about the wires to the switch in the dash.
Have to get someone to do this work......labour is not free. (licienced AC technician).
I would still like it, but I would like to see the condition of the parts first.
