Tanabe Exhaust

wut do you fellas think of the Tanabe Racing Medallion cat-back?

and if i got one, i have to do emissions very soon.. so would it meet?

horrible looking and sounding exhaust, but, hey... you may like that

as long as there are no leaks and no CEL, they'll e-test it.

tanabe RM = burp burp fart fart whine whine.....horrible sounding it was the loudest worst soudnign thing I have ever heard....if you want that whoel "N1" crap then get a 5 zigen fireball they sound loud but way better...still not my thing

not to mention you will pay through the nose for a Tanabe...have you ever priced that ****?? way over priced for a pooh sounding pipe can...get custom piping...way better IMO, and way cheaper...

I have to agree with what has been said. Every single car I have seen and heard that has the Tanabe RM sounds horrible. Way too loud and farty sounding. I'm also not a fan of the canister style mufflers either. You will also likely attract alot of unwanted attention with the RM or any of the other canister style muffler.

Just my 2 cents.

^^exactly...nto to mention if yoru car is actually fast you dont' wan the attention anyway...for me it's more of a "hey look my car sounds fast" thing

Ya I got the tanabe, and yes it is loud and it does fart very often. I'm actually looking at changing it next year. But hey i got a complete catback for $200, so I'm not gonna complain!

well i got it, 495, new in the box cause the fella had a baby and needed to sell his car and the parts he hadn't put on yet, things not that loud at all, i mean its a bit louder but nothin special... guess i need headers and high-flow cat too
