Suspensions

Just some questions as to how far you've gone with your suspension work. I'm looking into getting eibach springs & illumina struts.

What is your suspension setup?

1) do you have springs?

2) do you have shocks?

3) do you have any bars?

4) what is your current setup and how low are you?

5) was suspension work your first stage of mod?

6) are you looking to get new springs? Which ones?

7) are you looking to get new shocks? Which ones?

8) what car is this suspension setup on?

9) in your opinion which setup is best for your car on road, track, and both?

10) how is your tire wear and your alignment? Do you need a camber kit?

Hey Jay,

Why don't you PM SiR_YO. He has some good prices for Mugen sports suspension.

I ordered mine from him for $1500 but I'm still waiting for them.

You can't really go wrong with Mugen.

Alignment must be done after you lower the car.

I had skunk2 coilover sleeves over stock shocks and they're OK.. I didn't lower it too much so there's not much of a camber.
It just pissed me off that the coating of the springs came off and started to rust. Skunk2 and I were emailing each other and they stopped replying after I sent them pictures of the rusted springs. (ƒuckers)

I'm using Tokico Blues (HP) with H&R Sports.
No chamber kit and I don't think I need one.
Its wasn't my first mod, cause I felt like I had to learn to drive the car first and then do a major handeling change....
I have a NEUSPEED front upper strut bar which is amazing in corners...
I'm quite happy with my current setting...
This setup is best suitable for street use, along with some track use.

I use this setup on my 93 EJ2 (DX Coupe).

Looks like my suspension work will be delayed because by the time I get it, it will be close to fall/winter again. Might as well get it next spring so I have the whole summer to enjoy it.

So I am gonna complete my chassis stiffening project instead.
