SRI Install?

Im installing a SRI in my 91 Si but I'm not sure what to do with the stock metal piping that is currently connected to the stock pipe. I know that I need to connect the new tubing from the PVC to the intake pipe but the old connection is done via a metal piping. I would just remove it but it is connected to another metal tube just below it. Should I cut down the 10mm tubing to fit the end of this metal tube?

Also, where the heck does this bracket go?

anyone have any pics?

Iam not sure if this is what you mean...but i will post anyways.
Metal line...unplug on both sides vavle cover and intake pipe and put hose to connect both.
Different motor pics, but you get the idea.

You can just undo the metal pipe from the vavle cover. But if i remember correctly its kinda attached to another little pipe. I just left mine attached to that other pipe and just left it hanging. The metal pipe wont move anywhere on you.

I was going to leave it in place but the end that is atached to the old intake will scrape against the new intake. I was thinking to get another 10mm hose and replace the second pipe as well and just remove both metal pipes

that pipe has coolant in it. What you can do.. is remove the metal tubing and connect the two heater hoses from each side if you really want it out of the way. But i'd just leave it.
