Squeeking noise - ball joint?

Recently, I've noticed a squeeking noise coming from the front driver side wheel area. It only squeeks when I move my steering wheel in any direction. However, when I'm driving straight, I don't hear anything. Maybe it's there, but I can't hear it. I'm assuming, and I've also been told that it's my ball joint. Does anyone else have any clue what it mayA be? How much will this cost to replace?

Thanks Preludegirl
That's what I thought it was, but just wasn't 100% sure.
