Squeeking noise while driving

I hear this squeeking noise while driving. I first thought it was my brake pads, but had them changed and the noise was still there. The noise is there while i'm coasting, accelerating and braking... My ball joints are good because i had them swapped too. The noise is very annoying.. My ride is lowered on performance gas shocks and springs.

My best guess is that my shocks/springs have worn out?

anyone esle have any ideas?

all that, and get a torque wrench and check your lug nuts. make sure your wheel is on tight enough.

maybe your rotor is warped? does it go away when you brake?

very vague description. if you want to any real educated guesses to what the problem could be your going to have to be more specific

does it go away at ANY point? slow speed, high speed, cornering.

does it change while turning? does it go with the wheel? is it loud? which side does it sound like its coming from ?

either way it sounds like you should let a mechanic look at it..

Agree with chris_v2. most places will take a look for free and usually they can tell in a matter of minutes once the car is up or after test drive.

it does not go away when accelerating.

it is not present at idle.

i asked if the note changes when turning. not if it goes away.

does the noise go with the wheel?

jack up the car, pull the ebrake off and spin one side. then do it with the other wheel??
so you could see if the noise is coming from the wheel or it would be your suspension. also check the wheel bearing.

When I first lowered my Civic on Tein H, there was a lot of squeeking, I had to take the car in for a o-ring sensor recall notice, and when I got it back, absolutely no squeeking, non, nada.

I think they just lubed up the springs where they contact. That's about it. Lithium grease ... I think.. woo for Honda Mechanics!

push down on the rad support and see if the noise is there. push down on the trunk (actually on the trunk floor w/ the trunk open) and see if the noise is there. if so, check again if it's front or back. if it's the rear, do you have a rear sway bar? if not, check the condition of your trailing arm bushings. if it's the front, check the front sway bar bushings.

RE: Squeaking Noise

Im not an expert or anything, and this can be totally unrelated, but I had just recently replaced my brakes and rotors this weekend. About a day or so after I noticed a squeaking noise like your describing, (there while driving, accelerating, slowing down, turning etc.) I remembered that I was very liberal with the 'brake cleaner' spray (as you should be) and figured i got some on th axle and shock mounts (drying it up and getting rid of any lubricants) so just yesterday I jacked the car back up, took a small bottle of WD40 with the spray nozzle to be precise, lubing any joints that moved up and down.... since then nothing but smooth sailing.

like I said could be totally unrelated but could be right on the nose as well.
