Looks great now... just wait a month. All the rubber in the engine comp will turn brown and look like ****. Also, I found the Gunk stuff attacks the aluminium in our engine blocks. Silicone spray is good, armorall is bad. That's a used car salesman trick... and also there is no way that that's all they did... look how clean those wires are, how clean the strut towers are... no way he just hosed it off and POOFFFFF, magically the car looks like new. It's true though, armorall makes it all shiny but you gotta clean it well beforehand.

There are many many ways to do it... steam power washer is one... see, living in Windsor... a lot of stamping goes on, which means a lot of tool and dies need cleaning... so there are massive steam cleaners around

But Gunk works well but attacks the block. Simple Green is good, as well as Castrol Super Clean. Use a new toilet brush for tight spots, and a bottle brush for even tighter spots. Finish off with dishwashing detergent to wash off any degreaser residue. Let sit overnight at least before starting... no reason really, just a precaution. I'll post a pic of my Saturn enginebay next week or something.

I use castrol super clean, and a toothbrush. Just watch out with some of those cleaners cause they do fade/ aluminum, half of my strut bar is faded.

i donno i know the gunk attacks it but the simple green didn't help my polished valve cover much, methinks i'll have to do it over, but hey atleast it's shiney new all in all it's worth it... but yeah i've heard some downsides to the gunk stuff.....and i think it was gunk that was bad with ashphalt?!?

Hondas are water proof. If you havean intake cover it. If not, let the water fly.
