Hi guys, I finally got around to Brett at Parkway Honda and got myself some OEM parts to put on my ride. He's of great help by the way, I recommend anybody who needs parts to hook up with him.

Anyway, I got some OEM spark plug wires and installed them on my car. Before I put them on, I measured the resistance of each wire with an ohm meter, and surprisingly, they're in the range of 7 kOhm to 10.5 kOhm. As bbarbulo said before, his wires are under 1 kOhm each, so am I missing something here?

Also, I got a new distributor cap and rotor from Brett. When I put my rotor in, I found that the bolt holding the exisiting rotor in place is missing! Since I got the car used, I figured the last guy must've screwed it up somehow. Now I can only put on the new rotor without the bolt... I'm gonna ask the garage to gimme a bolt to secure it. That really sucks you guys think? Also, one of the 3 screws for the cap was broken from before and the remaining piece is stuck in the hole, so now I can only put on the cap with 2 screws. This really sucks!

ive been uing my cap with a broken screw for over a year now... but the rotor screw is important, IMO....

the resistance of your plug wires will vary depending on what they are made of....and the thickness of them as well
