yes, that's riding the clutch and will result in the clutch getting glazed...

^^^^This is very important and allot of people overlook it, cuz they are lazy drivers... hell i find it easier on my legs in traffic to put it in nuteral instead of fighting the release mechanisms....

you shouldn't have to rev it only slightly higher than idle or 1000 rpm's.... 3000 woudl be a race launch rpm that is your problem and I bet is why your clucth prematurly fryed on you....

bro if you regularly start from a stop at 3000rpm, i definatley think you're riding your clutch too cuz that's just wrong!

Well on my way to the dealership to get my new bearing. From a dead stop I took the rpm's to 1500 rpm and the clutch fully dis-engaged. It works fine. It's just you have to keep up with the gas a little more.

Thank you everyone for your time and information you provided.

Yea its soo much easier on your legs especially in traffic, by the time I get home (mississauga) from Ryerson my legs still killing me no matter how I drive. Damn 5 oclock traffic lol. I did that twice and I learned its easier staying at school til 6:30 and taking 30 mins to drive home as compared to 1:15h of driving at 5...

Thanks,
3000 holy **** your killing that thing

Can't you time it to let go at under 1000rpms???

the only time I launch at 3000 is in solo 2 .... where I beat up on the car for a bit ... but when I drive on the street there's no need for crazy high rpm launches....

you know how to tell if the car is beat up/raced?? Does the engine sound "loud" even though there are no exhaust leaks.... like it runs loose? It's really hard to describe, I guess it's something that you get accustomed to by being around many cars... but you know how some cars just run mint, and on others everything works but it runs loud.
my car runs loud
and it revs in the morning by itself
