Car is smelly....leak?
My brothers car has something wrong with it. Its a 1992 Honda Civic LX Sedan.
Anways the problem is the car always smelling like gas. Inside and out. Obviously something is leaking but we dont know what. Basically we looked under the car and think we've found the soruce.
There are a couple of lines under the car. This line that is leaking is in the rear near the rear seats I would say. It stops at a bolt or some kind of circular knot. I am THINKING it could just be one of two things.
1. The whole damn pipe line is leaking, ie has a hole.
2. Or the actual fuel pump is leaking and needs replacing.
What do you think it is? And how would we go on to fix this.
Would it be unsafe driving this car for the time being?

well if u say that u spotted the leak im pretty sure thats the problem.
id suggest taking it to a good shop rather quickly and dealing with the situation, they will be able to tell u whats wrong and reccomend what to do.

thats usually where they leak, its where the rubber lines from the tank joins into the steel lines headed to the engine bay.

Got it fixed today. My uncle took it to a shop and they got it fixed. Think they sourced the problem and added a new pipe or either fixed up the old piping (welded new pipe piece?). Anyway good for now.
He told me that the gas was squirting out like mad, lol. Too bad it was once a full tank. What a waste of gas.
