Thumbs up Slick50

Last night, before I had a piece of 62.6, I went to CT thinking of buying a fuel cleaning fluid. I was using Pennzoil thingy last time and while I was looking in that section, I came accross Slick50. Not knowing where is that thing made, I look at the back and it says Pennzoil & Quaker State Company, the same address as Pennzoil, in Burlington. So I thought, this can't go wrong.

Just when I picked up a bottle, I saw a different colour one besides it, and it is for cars that are over 80,000km. Obviously, that's the one for my car.

19.99 per can and I filled my car up and this morning, the throttle response seems to be improved a little. And what impressed me was that my engine didn't sound weird when I am in reverse gear. The engine used to sound strange, as if some bolt was losen or whatnot when I am going backwards. This morning, it was smooth when I was parking my car.

I am impressed, needless to say.

yep i use slick 50 2-3 times a year... It always does a good job on the fuel system, I regularly see an extra 100km per tank after the initial cleaning tank. It seems to get rid of any hesitation in the throttle response also.. I dont really care to try any other, as this stuff has worked quite well...

My buddys dad works for Hydro One, formerly ontario hydro, they have used it in all of their trucks for years, and apparently it shows in the books (fuel loggs) increased fuel saveings for the company.

True that! Extra 20 bucks for every 4 to 6000 km is a good investment.
